The festival for technology-based art is soon coming to Berlin! So far the festival has only been held in Russia and will now be outside St. Petersburg for the first time. It will be happening in Berlin from the 13th till the 17th of November in the WYE. reSource transmediale will also be giving its contribution to the programme during these five days of CYBERFEST.
CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE is an artistic research and production residency which approaches the resources and reserves of materials, energies, signals and data behind it all. The project is a series of workshops and public events leading to an artwork for transmediale 2014 afterglow, a collaboration of artist-technologists Jamie Allen and David Gauthier.

The reSource-network got together on the October 17th to hear the proposals for the upcoming Vorspiel 2014. Afterwards there was a conversation about the structure of Vorspiel and the possibilities to develop it. Many ideas and suggestions were flying around the Klubraum in Klosterstrasse.
The next reSource network meeting is dedicated to the proposals that have been submitted for the Vorspiel 2014. The meeting is taking it's place on the 17th of October 2014 from 17:00 to 20:00 at Podewil.
This meeting of the reSource-net community is dedicated to the proposal of building the transmediale and CTM's pre-festival programme, the "Vorspiel", by creating a process of sharing and synergy among the reSource network, or close to it. P2P Vorspiel is a pre-festival weekend of distributed partner events preceding the opening of transmediale 2013 BWPWAP – Back When Pluto Was a Planet and CTM.13 – THE GOLDEN AGE through a dissemination of projects including exhibition openings, workshops, talks, performances and parties outside the main venues of either festival.
